As a team of therapists, we offer individual, couples, and group services to kids, teens, and adults.
What we value most is authenticity. We also know that authenticity requires vulnerability and courage. This means we bring our authentic and genuine selves to the therapeutic relationship, so that you can feel comfortable bringing yours. We will support you, guide you, laugh with you, and cry with you. We can help you discover and connect to your values, in order to step into your true authentic self.
We utilize evidence-based modalities in our work together, but what we know is that people don’t remember your expertise, they remember how they felt around you. We also know that the relationship you have with your therapist is one of the most influential factors to therapeutic change and outcomes. So building trust and safety is of the utmost importance to us. We strive to build strong connections and relationships with you!
We also believe therapy is for everyone. You don’t need a reason to come. You also don’t need to stay forever. We try to eliminate stigma and normalize therapy on a daily basis. Whoever you are, you’re welcome here - and we can’t wait to meet you!

Our Approach
Although we all pull from various counselling modalities and perspectives, we all share a fundamental philosophy of why humans suffer, and what can help them change. We believe that pain is an inevitable part of life. Instead of helping people continue their lifelong patterns of avoiding pain, we help them face it, learn from it, and grow with it; all done in a supportive and safe environment.
We don’t just do traditional talk therapy, where you feel like you are talking in circles and someone is sitting there nodding and taking notes. We show up as our authentic selves. We will form deep connections with you, challenge you & always keep it real with you. We help people experience what it’s like to feel change, so when they walk out the door they can see and feel a difference.

Hi, I’m Alina…
… and I am the proud owner of ARP. I have had the privilege of working in the social services field for over 15 years. The settings that I’ve worked in range from non-profit (Distress Centre, HomeFront, McMan Community Services, Jewish Family Services, Woods Homes, Eastside Family Centre), to primary health care, to private practice. It is these diverse experiences that have fostered my ability to connect with all humans that walk through my door, no matter how heavy their challenges. I pride myself in my authentic, compassionate, and genuine nature. I truly care about my clients, and work hard to help you feel safe, heard, and understood.
I genuinely LOVE my job, and I recognize that this is a privilege.
Outside of work, I enjoy yoga and group fitness, spending time in nature, connecting with friends and family, shopping at Homesense, and traveling. I also have a young toddler at home, who keeps me on my toes!
